The Role – Electrical Project Manager
As Electrical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the electrical scope of works on a major data centre project in Sintra. You will oversee all aspects of delivery, from design coordination and installation through to testing, commissioning, and handover.

This is a senior leadership role where you will manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected on mission critical builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all electrical installation activities across the project lifecycle
• Lead design coordination with internal engineering teams and subcontractors
• Monitor site progress, ensuring alignment with programme, budget, and quality targets
• Maintain strong communication with clients and key project stakeholders
• Drive productivity through detailed weekly and daily planning
• Promote and enforce high standards of health, safety, and quality on site
• Track project milestones and proactively address risks or delays
• Manage labour, materials, and resources to optimise performance
• Lead and mentor engineers, package managers, supervisors, and site teams
• Coordinate works with other trades to ensure efficient and safe site operations
• Review and sign off on project documentation and site reports
• Prepare and present weekly project reports including programme updates, risks, and commercial tracking
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and ensure all actions are closed out
• Maintain accurate records, meeting minutes, and clear communication across all teams

About You

• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing large scale electrical construction projects
• Background in data centres, commercial, industrial, or high value building projects
• Trade or engineering qualification in electrical or building services
• Strong experience managing project programmes, budgets, and resources
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and site compliance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Commercial awareness with experience managing variations and reporting
