The Role Senior Building Services Engineer
As a Senior Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the coordination, installation and delivery of mechanical and electrical services across multiple residential projects. You will work closely with site teams, design consultants and subcontractors to ensure M&E systems are delivered to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role with strong site presence, overseeing everything from early coordination through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring programme targets and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.

Salary: €75,000 to €85,000 DOE

The Role Senior Building Services Engineer
As a Senior Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the coordination, installation and delivery of mechanical and electrical services across multiple residential projects. You will work closely with site teams, design consultants and subcontractors to ensure M&E systems are delivered to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on role with strong site presence, overseeing everything from early coordination through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring programme targets and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical and electrical installation across residential construction projects
- Manage M&E coordination between design, architectural and structural teams
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, safety and programme compliance
- Support site teams in resolving technical building services issues
- Ensure commissioning and handover processes are completed to a high standard
- Maintain strong documentation and reporting across all M&E activities
- Liaise with utility providers for services including power, water, gas and telecoms
- Drive consistency in building services standards across multiple project sites
- Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
- Degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- 4 plus years’ experience in a building services or M&E role within construction
- Strong experience on residential or mixed-use developments
- Excellent understanding of M&E installation, commissioning and handover
- Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Keen interest in sustainability and modern building services technologies
Salary: €75,000 to €85,000 DOE
