With a growing portfolio of commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and mission-critical projects, they are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance, compliance, and project handover activities across multiple sites throughout Leinster.
The Role: QA/QC Engineer
This is a site-based QA/QC Engineer position covering projects throughout the Leinster region. Reporting to senior project management, you will play a key role in ensuring mechanical and electrical installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
You will work closely with project teams, commissioning engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all inspections, testing, quality documentation, and compliance procedures are completed correctly and efficiently.
The successful QA/QC Engineer will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and will be comfortable working across multiple projects within a live construction environment.

Salary: €45,000 to €60,000 DOE

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a QA/QC Engineer or Junior Engineer role within the mechanical or electrical sector
- Proven experience required working on construction, engineering, or building services projects
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Leinster projects
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification preferred
- Experience working within regulated environments beneficial
- Commissioning, testing, or validation experience advantageous
- Experience using quality management systems and digital reporting platforms
- Trade background within mechanical or electrical services
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards
- Additional safety or compliance certifications
- Experience on pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, or data centre projects
- Carry out quality inspections across mechanical and electrical installations
- Ensure works comply with project specifications, company procedures, and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
- Support project teams in achieving successful project handovers
- Conduct site audits and quality reviews across active projects
- Assess commissioning activities and verify compliance with project requirements
- Monitor workmanship standards and identify any quality concerns
- Provide recommendations regarding training and competency requirements
- Ensure engineers and subcontractors are operating in accordance with health and safety requirements
- Liaise with clients, project managers, commissioning teams, and site personnel
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery teams
- You have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, building services, or construction projects
- You are organised and detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality standards
- You have experience producing clear technical reports and inspection documentation
- You can communicate effectively with clients, site teams, and senior management
- You are confident identifying quality issues and driving corrective actions
- You work well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities across live projects
- You understand the importance of compliance, safety, and quality throughout project delivery
