This established specialist M&E contractor delivers mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building services projects across Ireland and mainland Europe.
Working across sectors including pharmaceutical, food production, commercial, technology, and data centres, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality installations on technically demanding projects.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their head office team in Co Cavan OR Leixlip and support the commercial delivery of projects across Ireland and Europe.
The Role: Junior Quantity Surveyor
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within the mechanical and electrical sector.
Working alongside experienced commercial and project teams, you will gain exposure to all aspects of project financial management, cost control, valuations, reporting, and commercial administration while supporting projects from tender stage through to final account.
The role will suit a motivated Quantity Surveyor with some construction experience who is eager to build a long-term career within a growing specialist contractor.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have a Quantity Surveying qualification.
- Previous construction industry experience in Ireland is required.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Experience working within mechanical, electrical, or building services projects preferred.
- Knowledge of construction planning, programming, and project controls beneficial.
- Experience with valuations, cost reporting, and project administration advantageous.
- Exposure to subcontractor management and commercial meetings preferred.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM, or project planning software.
- Understanding of HVAC, mechanical, or electrical installations.
- Experience working with commercial reporting systems.
- Support the financial management of projects from commencement through to completion.
- Assist with monthly valuations and commercial reporting activities.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and analyse budget versus actual expenditure.
- Record, manage, and report project variations, risks, and cost impacts.
- Assist with commercial meetings involving clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Support Project Managers with commercial reporting and project performance analysis.
- Assist with project planning, programming, and scheduling activities.
- Monitor project costs and support the identification of commercial risks.
- Prepare and maintain commercial documentation and project records.
- Assist with project close-out activities including final accounts and commercial reconciliation.
- Support senior commercial team members in the delivery of multiple projects across Ireland and Europe.
