Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, the company is creating a new senior-level M&E position within the business. This appointment offers the successful candidate the opportunity to help shape and develop the M&E function while supporting the delivery of major projects nationwide.
The Role: M&E Manager
This is a newly created role offering a rare opportunity for an experienced M&E Manager or Senior M&E Coordinator to play a key role in the future growth of the business.
Initially, you will support the delivery of a major healthcare project in Longford while working closely with senior management to establish M&E best practices, improve coordination processes, and support future project delivery across the business.
The role will suit someone currently working as an M&E Manager, Building Services Manager, or Senior M&E Coordinator with a main contractor who is looking for greater responsibility and long-term career progression.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced M&E professional with a strong track record delivering building services packages on behalf of a main contractor.

Must Have Requirements
- Must be currently working as an M&E Coordinator, Senior M&E Coordinator, Building Services Manager, or M&E Manager with a main contractor.
- Must have a minimum of 5–6 years' experience in an M&E coordination or management role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems is required.
- Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Healthcare project experience preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, education, or mixed-use developments beneficial.
- Strong understanding of commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
- Experience reviewing technical submissions and managing design coordination activities.
- Relevant degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of BCAR and project handover documentation.
- Experience implementing M&E procedures and project delivery processes.
- Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical services throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review M&E designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Liaise with consultants, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Coordinate M&E installations with construction programmes and site activities.
- Monitor quality standards, commissioning activities, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all mechanical and electrical works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and project objectives.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support to site and management teams.
- Identify and resolve design, technical, and coordination issues.
- Support site teams throughout installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Assist in developing and implementing M&E procedures, standards, and best practices across the business.
- Work closely with senior management to help establish and grow the company's M&E function.
