The Role: Project Planner
This Project Planner position is based on a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Team, Engineers and Construction Management Team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and controlling detailed construction programmes throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful Project Planner will play a critical role in programme delivery, progress measurement, resource planning and risk management, ensuring the project remains on schedule and aligned with commercial targets.
You will be involved in schedule development, programme negotiations with the main contractor, progress reporting, labour forecasting and the identification of programme risks across all phases of the project.

Salary: €70,000 to €90,000 DOE

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3 years' experience in a Project Planner, Planning Engineer or Construction Planner role
- Proven experience required using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent planning software
- Must be capable of producing detailed construction programmes from design and commercial information
- Experience working on large-scale construction, engineering, data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial projects is required
- Strong reporting, scheduling and programme control skills are essential
- Data centre project experience preferred
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical or building services contractors
- Knowledge of earned value analysis and labour productivity tracking
- Experience managing integrated contractor programmes
- Exposure to European construction projects beneficial
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Building Services
- Trade background combined with strong planning experience
- Primavera P6 capability
- Experience producing phasing drawings and construction methodologies
- Review contract documentation and identify key scheduling and reporting requirements
- Develop detailed construction programmes based on project scope and work breakdown structures
- Support programme negotiations with clients and main contractors
- Labour load construction schedules using commercial cost and quantity data
- Produce project reporting templates, trackers and progress dashboards
- Develop integrated project programmes alongside the main contractor and project management team
- Monitor and measure weekly progress against programme milestones
- Analyse productivity and efficiency trends across direct and subcontract labour
- Identify programme risks, delays and critical path impacts
- Prepare weekly look-ahead programmes and progress reports
- Facilitate planning and coordination meetings with project teams
- Support project teams with programme recovery and mitigation strategies
- Assist in the development of construction methodologies and phasing plans
- Maintain accurate programme records and revisions throughout project delivery
- Escalate programme risks and critical issues to senior planning management
- You are an organised and detail-focused Project Planner with strong technical construction knowledge
- You have experience developing and managing complex construction programme
- You are confident working with project managers, commercial teams and site management personnel
- You understand programme risk, critical path analysis and construction sequencing
- You can communicate programme information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are proactive in identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation measures
- You thrive within fast-paced project environments and enjoy driving successful project outcomes
