Package: €90,000 to €110,000 rotation accommodation flights package
The Company
This Irish main contractor has established itself as a major player in the European data centre sector, delivering complex mission-critical projects across multiple countries. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale developments and a reputation for technical excellence, they continue to secure some of the largest data centre contracts in Europe.
Their commissioning teams play a critical role in project delivery, ensuring mechanical and electrical systems are fully tested, validated, and handed over to the highest standards. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Lead for a major data centre project in Fredericia, Denmark.
The Role: Mechanical Commissioning Lead
Based in Fredericia, Denmark, you will take ownership of the mechanical commissioning process from pre-commissioning through to final client handover. Working closely with the Project Manager, Commissioning Manager, package leads, specialist vendors, and client teams, you will ensure systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
This Mechanical Commissioning Lead role is heavily focused on leadership, coordination, quality assurance, and programme delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring all commissioning activities are completed in the correct sequence, fully documented, and aligned with client expectations.
You will oversee mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water, cooling systems, pipework, pumps, heat rejection systems, and associated plant within a live data centre construction environment.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Lead who understands what it takes to bring complex building services systems online successfully. You can manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate specialist vendors, and maintain momentum while ensuring commissioning standards are never compromised.
You are comfortable working within a fast-moving data centre environment and have the technical knowledge to identify issues early, resolve problems efficiently, and keep programme delivery on track.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to commissioning documentation are essential for success in this role.

Benefits:
This is an opportunity to take a lead role on one of Europe's most technically challenging construction sectors. The project in Fredericia, Denmark will provide exposure to large-scale data centre infrastructure and offer significant responsibility from day one.
