You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering High Voltage and Medium Voltage electrical projects, looking to join a Tier 1 engineering contractor with a secured pipeline of work across the power and renewables sector for the next 5 years.
This is a senior delivery role, offering full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, lead multidisciplinary site teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Manager – Power & Renewables Skills: Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar
Alternatively, a strong electrical trade background with proven PM experience
Demonstrable experience delivering HV / MV, substations, power transmission or renewables projects
Strong experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial awareness, working closely with Quantity Surveyors
Proven ability to manage programme, cost, quality, and risk
High level of IT literacy (reports, programmes, presentations)
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
Solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Willingness to travel as required by project demands
As a Project Manager – Power & Renewables: Take full responsibility for project delivery from handover to close-out
Lead project start-up activities, including handover from estimating and project validation
Develop and manage project execution plans, programmes, procurement strategies, and cost controls
Mobilise site teams, subcontractors, and site establishments in line with project plans
Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, and Quality standards
Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring programme and productivity targets are met
Chair and attend progress meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Monitor cost and sales performance in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure accurate progress reporting, including monthly internal reports
Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems
Ensure O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and certification are completed and issued
Prepare and agree final accounts with the commercial team
Lead project close-out, demobilisation, and lessons-learned reporting
Maintain strong client relationships through the warranty and defects period
Health, Safety & Quality: Promote and lead a strong safety-first culture across all projects
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, client, and company EHS requirements
Maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and site housekeeping
