You are an experienced EICA Supervisor with a strong background delivering MEICA works on water and wastewater infrastructure projects, looking to join a well-established engineering contractor delivering essential projects across Ireland (East region).
This role is site-based and hands-on, offering involvement across installation, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance of electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems. You will play a key role supporting safe delivery, driving quality standards, and working closely with commissioning, process, and project delivery teams.

EICA Supervisor Skills: Trade qualified Electrical or E&I electrician (RECI or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ post-apprenticeship experience
Strong experience supervising MEICA works on live construction sites
Proven background in commissioning and process proving of MEICA systems
Water / wastewater project experience is highly advantageous
Mechanical experience is a distinct advantage
Strong ability to liaise directly with clients during commissioning and sign-off
Excellent organisational, quality control, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage own workload
Full clean Irish / EU driving licence
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
As an EICA Supervisor: Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability standards on site
Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site-based staff
Oversee H&S documentation, quality records, timesheets, and site diaries
Support project teams with preparation of commissioning and test documentation
Deliver, install, and commission electrical installations ranging from small to large scale
Carry out QA inspections on MEICA works and complete internal snagging
Identify installation deficiencies and support corrective actions
Complete initial power-up of MCCs, motor rotation checks, and I/O point-to-point testing
Set up, scale, and calibrate field instrumentation (4–20 mA to PLC)
Carry out testing and commissioning of disinfection and dosing systems
Work closely with Commissioning Managers, Process Engineers, EICA Engineers, and subcontractors
Review detailed design ahead of construction, considering constructability and commissioning needs
Attend FATs and SATs, providing technical acceptance and sign-off
Complete all commissioning documentation, pre-test inspections, and SAT records
Assist with procurement, materials identification, and occasional site logistics
Carry out site verification testing to support process proving
Prepare installation checks and snag lists for mechanical and electrical subcontractors
Support optimisation and performance improvement of water and wastewater processes
Attend required training and certification courses for ongoing professional development
Health & Safety / Compliance: Promote a strong safety-first culture across all site activities
Identify hazards, manage risk, and ensure best practice is followed
Maintain high housekeeping and site standards at all times
Ensure all works comply with regulatory, client, and project requirements
