With a strong track record in the Nordics, they are known for managing complex mechanical and electrical packages on high-value developments.

Their Swedish data centre division continues to expand, with multiple live projects and a strong pipeline of upcoming work. They offer a structured environment, technical excellence and long-term career progression within the data centre sector.

The Role – Mechanical Quantity Surveyor

As a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of mechanical packages on a major data centre project. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure strong cost control, accurate reporting and commercial performance from pre-contract through to final account.

This is a key role within the commercial team, supporting the delivery of high-value mechanical works on a fast-paced, technically complex project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial lifecycle of mechanical packages from procurement to final account
• Prepare and review cost reports, forecasts and valuations
• Assess subcontractor applications and manage payments
• Identify and manage variations, claims and change orders
• Support procurement and subcontractor selection
• Ensure cost control and financial performance across the project
• Work closely with site and project teams to track progress against budget
• Liaise with clients and commercial stakeholders

About You

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within mechanical or M&E contracting
• Experience working on data centre or large-scale construction projects preferred
• Strong understanding of contracts, commercial management and cost control
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving
