The Role – Building Services Engineer
As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination, design management, and delivery of mechanical and electrical systems across large-scale residential developments. You will ensure all M&E installations are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Working closely with site teams, design consultants, and subcontractors, you will drive programme delivery while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence and innovation in building services.

Salary: €60,000 – €65,000 (DOE)

The Role – Building Services Engineer
As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination, design management, and delivery of mechanical and electrical systems across large-scale residential developments. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and quality of mechanical and electrical systems from design through to commissioning
- Coordinate M&E design information with architectural and structural elements
- Manage M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Resolve on-site technical issues in collaboration with construction and design teams
- Liaise with utility providers for timely connection of services including power, water and telecoms
- Coordinate service diversions and temporary utilities for live construction environments
- Support value engineering and implementation of innovative building services solutions
- Ensure all works comply with health and safety, quality and regulatory standards
- Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Building Services Engineer or similar role within construction
- Strong background in residential or high-density housing projects
- Knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical distribution and utilities coordination
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships across teams
- Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Full driving licence and Irish construction experience
Salary: €60,000 – €65,000 (DOE)
