HV Tendering Engineer

As an Electrical Tendering Engineer (High Voltage), you’ll take the lead on all tendering activities for major power and renewables projects based out of Dublin. The role involves pulling together compliant bids, coordinating with internal teams, and working closely with clients throughout the tender process.

You’ll be central to ensuring tenders are delivered accurately and competitively, with responsibility for managing documentation, technical submittals, and commercial proposals. This role requires someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and confident representing the business at a senior level.

HV Tendering Engineer Skills:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant role, with proven high voltage experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of tendering fundamentals.
• Confident representing the business in client meetings, workshops, and presentations.
• Excellent IT skills – capable of preparing clear reports and professional presentations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tenders across different disciplines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, solution-focused attitude with flexibility to travel when required.

As a HV Tendering Engineer:

• Lead all tendering activities for high-voltage projects within the Power & Renewables sector.
• Work closely with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to prepare high-quality tenders and value propositions.
• Review specifications, identify bid deliverables, and ensure compliance across all submissions.
• Manage client interfaces during the tender and post-tender stages, including clarifications and presentations.
• Coordinate between electrical and civil inputs to ensure seamless delivery of proposals.
• Oversee the compilation and assessment of technical submittals and tender returns.
• Collaborate with the Estimation team on commercial proposals.
• Conduct reviews of processes, identify efficiencies, and propose improvements.
• Manage submissions across various tender portals.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €85,000 plus package.
