As the Electrical Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems, installations and components meet safety, compliance and quality requirements. The position involves inspections, testing and reporting to confirm that all work is carried out in line with project specifications, regulations and industry best practice.
This is a permanent role on a major project in Kerry with a strong pipeline of work secured for the next five years and beyond. Electrical Quality Control Inspector Skills:
- Trade background or third level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt and work well with others
- Ability to work on your own initiative while also taking direction when require
- Proven ability to deliver work to the highest quality standards
- Proficiency in MS Office, BIM 360 Field Management or similar platform
- Experience in data centres, pharmaceutical or similarly complex project environments
As an Electrical Quality Control Inspector:
- Carry out inspections of electrical installations during and after construction to confirm compliance with project specifications, regulations and safety standards
- Monitor electrical works against drawings, plans and industry standards to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform electrical testing such as continuity, insulation resistance and voltage to ensure safety and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing logs and non conformance reports and communicate findings with the project team
- Identify non conformances and work with the team to implement corrective action
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and contractors to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance
- Promote and enforce safe working practices in line with legislation and site procedures
- Inspect and review incoming electrical materials to confirm they meet required standards before use
- Suggest improvements to processes, materials and quality control systems
