You are an experienced Electrical Site Manager with a strong background in high voltage projects for a role that offers long-term stability with a strong pipeline of work over the next 5+ years in Cork.

As Electrical Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for managing all on-site activities on major construction projects. From pre-mobilisation through to commissioning and handover, you’ll ensure the smooth running of operations, working closely with the Project Manager and wider team.

Electrical Site Manager Skills:
- Recognised Electrical apprenticeship/trade cert with 5+ years’ site management experience.
- Proven track record on electrical design & build projects above €5M.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A solid understanding of constructability, safety, and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage teams, coordinate across disciplines, and represent projects at senior level.
- Additional safety/environmental certs (IOSH/NEBOSH/PICW) would be an advantage.
As an Electrical Site Manager:
- Support the Project Manager in developing construction programmes, materials schedules, and site setup plans.
- Review drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Establish site safety processes and quality benchmarks from day one.
- Manage all on-site electrical activities, ensuring works are carried out to programme and budget.
- Supervise sub-contractors, ensuring productivity and quality are achieved.
- Track progress, mark up master programmes, and report back to the PM.
- Maintain strong communication and coordination across trades.
- Lead and motivate teams on site.
- Ensure smooth coordination between electrical and other disciplines.
- Take ownership of challenges and drive solutions with the wider project team.
- Champion a “safety-first” culture on site.
- Carry out toolbox talks, audits, and daily walk-arounds.
- Ensure operatives are trained, equipped, and working to method statements.
- Oversee QA/QC processes, including audits and snag management.
- Ensure inspection test plans are followed with a zero-snags approach.
- Coordinate material deliveries and plant requirements.
- Work with commissioning teams to ensure all systems are tested and certified.
- Manage demobilisation of site, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure handover documentation and as-builts are complete.
