The Role Senior Electrical Design Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take a lead role in the delivery of electrical building services design across multiple projects. You will be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle, coordinating internal teams and ensuring all technical deliverables meet client and regulatory standards.
This is a key position within the design team, offering real influence over project direction, technical decisions and overall project quality. You will also play an important role in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

The Role Senior Electrical Design Engineer
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will take a lead role in the delivery of electrical building services design across multiple projects. You will be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle, coordinating internal teams and ensuring all technical deliverables meet client and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead electrical design from concept through to completion ensuring all project milestones are achieved
- Coordinate internal design teams and manage resources to meet programme requirements
- Review and approve electrical layouts schematics and calculations in line with industry standards and client specifications
- Carry out value engineering exercises to deliver cost effective and efficient design solutions
- Prepare project budgets and manage cost reporting ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives
- Act as the main point of contact for external consultants and design partners
- Review IES models including daylight and sunlight analysis and provide technical input
- Attend and lead design team meetings ensuring actions are tracked and delivered
- Mentor and support junior engineers to develop technical capability and performance
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practice
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Strong background in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment
- Proven experience leading projects and managing design deliverables
- Excellent knowledge of relevant standards regulations and design software including AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost control and budget management
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team development
- Driven, detail focused and committed to delivering high quality engineering solutions
Salary €60,000 to €80,000 DOE
