The Role – BMS EPMS Package Manager
As BMS EPMS Package Manager, you will take ownership of the Building Management System and Electrical Power Monitoring System packages on a major data centre project. You will be responsible for managing delivery from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are fully integrated, tested, and operating to specification.
This is a critical role within the project team, ensuring seamless coordination between design teams, vendors, and commissioning teams while maintaining strict programme timelines and quality standards.

The Role – BMS EPMS Package Manager
As BMS EPMS Package Manager, you will take ownership of the Building Management System and Electrical Power Monitoring System packages on a major data centre project. You will be responsible for managing delivery from installation through commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are fully integrated, tested, and operating to specification.
This is a critical role within the project team, ensuring seamless coordination between design teams, vendors, and commissioning teams while maintaining strict programme timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of BMS and EPMS packages from installation to commissioning and handover
- Coordinate with design teams and specialist vendors to ensure technical compliance and system integration
- Lead technical workshops and drive resolution of design and coordination issues
- Monitor programme progress, ensuring commissioning activities remain on schedule
- Review drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals, progressing design queries efficiently
- Act as the main point of contact for BMS and EPMS vendors on site
- Oversee commissioning activities, including L3 testing and system performance validation
- Ensure QA and quality control standards are met prior to handover
- Manage commissioning documentation and track system readiness through completion stages
- Attend coordination, client, and commissioning meetings as required
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Controls
- Proven experience managing BMS or EPMS systems on large-scale construction or data centre projects
- Strong technical understanding of building automation systems, controls, and commissioning processes
- Experience coordinating vendors and managing specialist subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Detail-focused with a commitment to quality and programme delivery
