Regional Quality Control Lead Europe

Our client is a major international engineering services contractor delivering complex mechanical and electrical packages across Europe. With a secured pipeline of data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and mission critical projects over the next five years, they are recognised for technical excellence, safety leadership and consistent project delivery.
Operating across Ireland, the Nordics, mainland Europe and the UK, this contractor partners with global blue chip clients on high value engineering projects. Their European portfolio continues to expand, creating a requirement for a senior Regional Quality Control Lead to drive quality standards across multiple live sites.
The Role Regional Quality Control Lead
As Regional Quality Control Lead, you will take ownership of all Quality Control activities across European project locations. This is a strategic leadership role overseeing CSA, Mechanical, Electrical and commissioning quality across large scale data centre and industrial builds.
You will act as the primary escalation point for quality matters, ensuring standardisation of inspection processes, ITP implementation, NCR management and audit readiness across all projects. Working closely with Regional Directors and Project Directors, you will embed best practice, drive continuous improvement and ensure that every project meets client specifications and statutory compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor Quality Control Managers and site QC teams across multiple European locations
• Standardise QC procedures, inspection processes and reporting systems across all projects
• Oversee Inspection and Test Plans, method statements and quality documentation approval
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections and quality walks on live data centre and MEP projects
• Manage NCRs, defect resolution and close out processes to reduce rework and improve performance
• Ensure compliance with CSA, mechanical, electrical and commissioning quality standards
• Track and report KPIs including NCR trends, audit findings, rework levels and close out performance
• Present monthly and quarterly quality updates to senior leadership
• Support buildability reviews, design coordination and early stage pre construction input
• Represent the business during client audits, inspections and technical workshops
• Drive lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the region
About You
• 7 years plus experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within construction, MEP, data centre or industrial projects
• Strong technical understanding of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical quality requirements
• Proven experience leading multi site or multi country QC teams
• Excellent knowledge of ITPs, inspection processes, quality documentation and compliance standards
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and project teams
• Experience delivering hyperscale data centre or mission critical projects is highly desirable
• Engineering qualification or chartered status advantageous
• Comfortable travelling regularly across Europe
