The Company
This international contractor specialises in the turnkey delivery of major data centre projects across Ireland and Europe, covering design, construction and commissioning.
Based from Dublin, they are looking for a Regional Design Manager to provide senior design leadership across multiple data centre projects within their regional portfolio.
The Role: Regional Design Manager
As Regional Design Manager, you will lead Design Managers and multidisciplinary design teams across several major data centre projects.
You will take responsibility for regional design strategy, governance and technical delivery from concept through construction and commissioning, ensuring design remains aligned with programme, cost and quality requirements. Travel between projects within the region will be required.
Must Have Requirements
You will be a senior Design Manager with strong multidisciplinary knowledge across CSA, mechanical and electrical systems.
You should be comfortable leading multiple project teams, managing senior stakeholders and taking ownership of design strategy and technical delivery across a regional data centre portfolio.

The Role: Regional Design Manager
As Regional Design Manager, you will lead Design Managers and multidisciplinary design teams across several major data centre projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10+ years’ experience in Design Management, Engineering Management or technical project delivery.
- Proven experience required on data centre, mission-critical or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams across multiple concurrent projects.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of CSA, mechanical and electrical design coordination preferred.
- European data centre project experience highly beneficial.
- BIM and digital design delivery experience advantageous.
- Lead and support Design Managers and multidisciplinary design teams across the region.
- Develop and maintain regional design standards, procedures and reporting.
- Drive design delivery from concept through construction and commissioning.
- Manage consultants, technical submissions, RFIs, change control and IFC releases.
- Lead design assurance, value engineering and standardisation.
- Manage design risks and technical issues across multiple projects.
- Work closely with Project Directors, Construction, Commercial, Procurement and Commissioning teams.
- Report on design performance, KPIs and key risks to senior management.
You will be a senior Design Manager with strong multidisciplinary knowledge across CSA, mechanical and electrical systems.
