The Role: Quantity Surveyor

This Quantity Surveyor role is based in South Finland, working as part of the commercial team on a major data centre fit out project.

You will take responsibility for the commercial management of subcontract packages, working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager and site team to maintain cost control, manage variations and keep commercial reporting accurate throughout the project.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and commercial accounts is required
• Must be comfortable working in Finland on a rotational basis
• Strong cost management, reporting and contractual knowledge required

Preferred Experience

• Data centre or technical fit out experience preferred
• Previous experience working on large scale construction projects beneficial
• Experience working internationally or on European projects would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, packages, valuations and final accounts
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial risks
• Prepare accurate cost reports and commercial forecasts
• Assess subcontractor applications and manage payments
• Work closely with the site team to track progress against commercial targets
• Maintain contract documentation and support the wider commercial delivery of the project

About You

You will be a Quantity Surveyor with solid construction experience and a good understanding of subcontractor management, cost control and commercial reporting.

You should be commercially aware, organised and comfortable working closely with site and project teams. Experience within data centre fit out or other technically detailed construction projects would be particularly relevant.
