The Role – MEP Lead The MEP Lead will take full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services across a large residential construction project in Dublin. This is a senior leadership role overseeing the coordination, management and successful delivery of building services installations from pre construction through to commissioning and handover.
Working closely with the project director, consultants, subcontractors and site management teams, you will ensure that all MEP activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities • Leading the overall delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services across the project
• Managing the full MEP scope of works from design coordination through to installation and commissioning
• Ensuring all site activities meet project objectives across health and safety, programme delivery, quality and commercial performance
• Coordinating with consultants and design teams to ensure building services information aligns with construction schedules
• Overseeing subcontractor performance across all building services packages
• Monitoring installation progress and ensuring programme milestones are achieved
• Maintaining strict quality control across all MEP installations
• Supporting commercial management and reporting across building services packages
• Managing technical issues and ensuring solutions are implemented efficiently on site
About You • Third level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a recognised Electrical Trade qualification
• Minimum 10 years post qualification experience within building services or construction project delivery
• Proven experience operating at Senior Project Manager or senior building services leadership level
• Experience delivering large scale residential or fit out construction projects
• Previous experience working with a main contractor is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of building services systems, site coordination and project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
