The Role: Mechanical Project Manager
This Mechanical Project Manager role is based in Dublin City, Co Dublin on a major mission critical construction project.
You will take full ownership of large mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, managing programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, commercial performance and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful Mechanical Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary site teams in a fast-paced live construction environment while maintaining strong control over quality, safety and programme certainty.
You will work closely with senior management, commercial teams, design teams and client representatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background delivering complex mechanical installations on large construction projects in Ireland or the UK.
You will have a practical understanding of programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, commissioning and commercial management within fast-paced site environments.
Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lead teams, drive productivity and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience delivering large mechanical packages on complex construction projects with at least 10 years’ experience
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipework, plant rooms and mechanical services installations
- Experience managing mechanical subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams is required
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing variations, delays and cost impacts
- Experience with a mechanical contractor or main contractor delivering large-scale projects in Ireland is required
- Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
- Experience working within fast-track construction environments beneficial
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience preferred
- Experience managing commissioning and handover processes advantageous
- Take full responsibility for the mechanical scope of works from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
- Plan, organise and control site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Lead and mentor engineers, package managers, supervisors and foremen on site
- Coordinate closely with design teams and subcontractors to ensure buildability and technical compliance
- Manage weekly and short-term planning including lookaheads, labour planning and sequencing
- Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity and quality of installation
- Drive programme delivery through daily and weekly work plans and reporting
- Manage variations, delays and changes in conjunction with the commercial team
- Chair and contribute to coordination meetings with internal teams and subcontractors
- Maintain a strong QHSE culture across all mechanical works
- Produce clear and accurate progress and commercial reports
