The Role: Junior BIM / Building Services Engineer
This Junior BIM / Building Services Engineer role in Co Tyrone offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior level candidate to develop practical BIM and MEP coordination experience on live construction projects.
Working within an experienced design and project delivery team, you will assist with BIM modelling, technical drawing production and design coordination across a range of commercial and industrial building services projects throughout Ireland and the UK.
You will gain hands on exposure to Revit, AutoCAD and BIM coordination processes while working alongside experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in a fast paced construction environment.
Must Have Requirements
You will ideally be a motivated graduate or junior engineer looking to build a long term career within BIM and building services engineering.
You should have strong technical attention to detail, good communication skills and a genuine interest in learning modern BIM coordination and MEP project delivery processes. Experience with Revit or AutoCAD is important, along with the ability to work well within a team environment.

- Degree or qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, BIM, Construction Technology or similar

- Some experience with Revit, AutoCAD or similar software is required
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a project team
- Placement or internship experience within construction or engineering
- Exposure to MEP coordination or building services projects preferred
- Understanding of BIM workflows and construction drawings beneficial
- Knowledge of Navisworks or clash detection software
- Full driving licence
- Interest in long term progression within BIM coordination or MEP engineering
- Assist with the creation and coordination of BIM models for building services projects
- Support the production and updating of drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to understand design and coordination requirements
- Assist with clash detection and coordination between building services disciplines
- Maintain drawing registers and model revisions throughout project stages
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and drawing packages
- Ensure BIM models and drawings meet project and quality standards
- Attend coordination meetings and assist with technical reviews
- Develop practical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Support efficient project delivery through accurate technical coordination
