We are seeking a fully qualified HVAC Technician to join a leading mechanical services team based in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work across commercial, industrial, and specialist HVAC projects, delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards. HVAC Technician Skills:
- Fully qualified Refrigeration/HVAC Technician with a completed Refrigeration Apprenticeship
- Minimum 3–4 years post-trade experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components
- Full, clean Irish driver’s licence
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Positive work ethic, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting ducts to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair faults with HVAC systems, replacing or fixing components as required
- Conduct fault-finding diagnostics and provide solutions with high-quality workmanship
- Maintain tools, equipment, van (if provided) and keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe
- Complete job documentation, including reports of work done, parts used, and follow-up maintenance recommendations
- Interact with clients to assess heating and cooling requirements and advise on system improvements
- Occasionally respond to emergency call-outs and after-hours work
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and relevant regulations
- Adhere to QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) Management System requirements, contributing to process improvement and maintaining documentation
