We are seeking an ambitious Health & Safety Coordinator to join a fast-growing engineering team based out of Co. Tipperary.
You will bring hands-on experience in health and safety management, supporting multiple sites to ensure projects are delivered safely, to the highest standards, on time, and in compliance with Irish and EU legislation.
You will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager, project supervisors, and engineering teams to maintain and continuously improve safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Health & Safety Coordinator Skills:
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a health & safety role, ideally in construction, engineering, or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence teams at all levels
- Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to travel to different sites as required
- Support the development, rollout, and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures across all sites
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and H&S training for employees and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate HSE records including training logs, incident registers, and inspection reports
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and regulatory authorities as required
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organisation
