As Electrical Construction Manager, you’ll act as the Project Manager’s representative on site and take responsibility for the full delivery of electrical works based out of Co Limerick. From pre-mobilisation through to commissioning and handover, you’ll be the person driving the job forward, managing subcontractors, and ensuring everything is delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest standard.

Electrical Construction Manager Skills:
- Electrical trade/apprenticeship with at least 5 years’ site management experience.
- Experience managing large-scale electrical projects (€5m+).
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator, capable of leading meetings and representing the company professionally.
- Commercial awareness and strong IT skills.
- IOSH/NEBOSH safety qualifications are desirable but not essential.
As an Electrical Construction Manager:
- Work with the PM to set up construction programmes, look-aheads, and material/equipment schedules.
- Establish the site and coordinate early works.
- Review drawings, prepare method statements and risk assessments, and get quality/safety procedures in place.
- Manage day-to-day site activities, subcontractor supervision, and workforce productivity.
- Hold and attend site meetings, keeping programmes updated and variations logged.
- Ensure efficient labour allocation, progress tracking, and accurate site diaries.
- Drive coordination with other disciplines to avoid clashes and delays.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, client reps, and other site managers.
- Ensure good communication across trades and resolve issues quickly with the PM.
- Lead by example on site, keeping the team focused and aligned.
- Oversee inductions, toolbox talks, and daily walkdowns.
- Maintain plant logs and safety checks, ensuring PPE and safe systems of work are always in place.
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce compliance with permits and procedures.
- Monitor material deliveries, installations, inspections, and snagging.
- Enforce inspection/test plans and aim for zero snags on handover.
- Check all free-issue equipment and confirm sign-off with the engineer.
- Support commissioning and ensure life-safety and critical systems are completed and certified.
- Produce final mark-ups and ensure all statutory notices and documentation are in place.
- Manage site demobilisation, including labour, plant, and materials.
