The Role – Construction Manager
As Construction Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful on-site delivery of mechanical works on a major project in Dresden. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all construction activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
This is a senior position where your ability to manage complex installations, control labour and drive performance will directly impact project success.

The Role – Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce high standards of health & safety across all site activities
- Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage and track the construction programme to meet key milestones
- Chair and attend client and site coordination meetings
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are completed to specification
- Plan and monitor labour and plant requirements with site supervisors
- Report progress, risks and performance to the Project Manager
- Work closely with engineers and safety teams to achieve project targets
- Monitor labour productivity and control costs on site
- Ensure all variations are captured and communicated to commercial teams
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical construction, ideally within pharmaceutical or oil & gas projects
- Trade background (pipefitter/mechanical) or relevant mechanical engineering qualification
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, isometrics and general arrangement drawings
- Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
- Driven, self-motivated and focused on delivering high-quality work
- Structured and methodical approach to problem solving
Salary: Excellent salary €90,000 - €110,000 (DOE)
