The Role – Commissioning Manager
As Commissioning Manager, you will take full ownership of the mechanical commissioning process on a major hyperscale data centre project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead all commissioning activities from planning through to final handover.
You will play a critical role in ensuring all systems are delivered, tested and validated to the highest standards, while managing programme, quality and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €100,000 to €120,000 DOE Great Package

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the commissioning strategy, programme and delivery plan
- Coordinate all commissioning activities across mechanical systems
- Lead commissioning teams including engineers, technicians and subcontractors
- Manage vendors and specialist suppliers during commissioning phases
- Oversee all commissioning documentation, test packs and handover documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and client requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks impacting commissioning programme or quality
- Lead functional testing, IST and final system validation
- Interface directly with client and senior stakeholders during commissioning and handover
- Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in a Commissioning Manager role on data centre or mission critical projects
- Proven track record delivering commissioning on large scale M&E projects
- Deep understanding of commissioning processes, QA systems and industry standards
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with a focus on quality, safety and programme delivery
Salary: €100,000 to €120,000 DOE Great Package
