The Company
This contractor has built a strong reputation delivering complex technical construction projects across data centres, life sciences and advanced manufacturing. Known for high standards and structured project delivery, they consistently deliver large scale developments for international clients.
With a growing pipeline of mission critical projects across Ireland and Europe, they are expanding their building services team and are now looking for a BMS Engineer to join their Kildare based operation with occasional travel to European sites.
The Role - BMS Engineer
As a BMS Engineer, you will be involved in the delivery of building management systems across large scale data centre and mission critical projects. You will support the full lifecycle from design review through to commissioning and handover.
This role plays a key part in ensuring systems operate correctly, efficiently and in line with strict project specifications, particularly in technically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €65,000 to €80,000 DOE

The Role - BMS Engineer
As a BMS Engineer, you will be involved in the delivery of building management systems across large scale data centre and mission critical projects. You will support the full lifecycle from design review through to commissioning and handover.
This role plays a key part in ensuring systems operate correctly, efficiently and in line with strict project specifications, particularly in technically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review BMS designs, control philosophies and technical submissions
- Coordinate with MEP, commissioning and project teams throughout delivery
- Monitor installation quality and ensure works meet required standards
- Support point to point testing, cause and effect and integrated systems testing
- Assist with commissioning activities and system validation
- Track progress against programme and help resolve technical issues
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with health and safety requirements
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors and specialist engineers
- Maintain accurate records, test results and handover documentation
- Support client demonstrations and system sign off
- Travel on an ad hoc basis to European project locations when required
- Background in building services, electrical, mechanical or controls engineering
- Experience as a BMS Engineer, controls engineer or building automation engineer
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and system integration
- Experience on data centres, pharma, industrial or other technical projects is advantageous
- Knowledge of commissioning processes and QA procedures
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Detail focused with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Open to occasional travel across Europe
