The Company
This established international engineering contractor delivers major M&E projects across Ireland and Europe, with a strong pipeline across data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial sectors.
They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their Limerick operation, taking responsibility for commercial performance across a significant portfolio of projects.
The Role: Commercial Manager
You will take ownership of the commercial performance of the Business Unit, working closely with Operations, Engineering, Planning and Finance from tender stage through project delivery and final account.
This includes commercial strategy, contract negotiation, forecasting, risk management, cash flow and developing the wider commercial team.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Commercial Manager with strong M&E or engineering knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of commercial performance across major projects.
You will be commercially sharp, comfortable challenging senior project teams and capable of balancing contractual protection with practical project delivery.

Must Have Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or senior commercial professional within construction or engineering.
- Strong M&E commercial experience required.
- Proven experience managing high-value projects, contracts and commercial risk.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop Quantity Surveyors and commercial teams.
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences or industrial project experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, planning and programme implications.
- Experience operating across multiple projects or at Business Unit level beneficial.
- Lead commercial performance across the Business Unit.
- Manage forecasting, revenue, cash flow, profitability and commercial reporting.
- Lead contract reviews, negotiations, risk management and dispute resolution.
- Oversee commercial performance across live projects and identify areas requiring intervention.
- Manage subcontract commercial terms, payments and compliance.
- Drive final account settlement and retention recovery.
- Develop and mentor the commercial team.
- Work closely with Operations, Planning, Engineering and Finance to improve project performance.
