We’re partnering with a leading international contractor operating in the mission-critical construction sector, currently delivering a major data centre project in the Helsinki region. As the project moves through key construction phases, they are now seeking an experienced Civils Lead to take responsibility for all civil and CSA site activities, from early works through to final handover.

This is a hands-on site leadership role, offering real influence over how the project is delivered, supported by a strong project team and an attractive international package.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading and coordinating all civil / CSA construction activities on site
• Driving the highest standards of safety, quality and execution from mobilisation to close-out
• Managing subcontractors to ensure progress, productivity and workmanship meet expectations
• Coordinating programme requirements with planning, project management and design teams
• Supporting cost control and forecasting alongside the commercial team
• Chairing subcontractor and discipline coordination meetings
• Monitoring progress, manpower and performance across multiple work fronts
• Ensuring scope changes and variations are captured and communicated clearly
• Reviewing drawings, setting-out information and as-built documentation
• Driving snagging, quality close-out and handover activities
• Representing the civils discipline at project reviews and client meetings

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
• Strong experience leading civil or CSA works on large construction projects
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, planning and site operations
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality control processes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment
• Data centre, infrastructure, industrial or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
