Technical Services Engineer – Project Delivery

We are working with a leading main contractor delivering large-scale commercial, life sciences and mission-critical projects across the Greater Dublin area.

They are now looking to bring an experienced Technical Services Engineer into their Dublin team to support projects from pre-construction through to delivery and handover.

This role would suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys coordinating between design teams, subcontractors and site management to ensure projects are delivered correctly, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Technical Services Engineer Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of building services and construction methodology
• Experience coordinating design information across MEP, architectural and structural disciplines
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, technical submittals and RFIs
• Strong understanding of buildability, sequencing and design coordination
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with consultants and subcontractors
• Good working knowledge of Irish building regulations and BCAR processes
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working for a main contractor is highly desirable

As a Technical Services Engineer you will:

• Coordinate and manage technical design information from pre-construction through to project delivery
• Review consultant and subcontractor drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and programme requirements
• Manage RFIs, technical submittals and design queries in line with project timelines
• Support site teams by resolving technical issues and design clashes
• Liaise closely with design consultants, subcontractors and internal construction teams
• Assist with design workshops, technical meetings and coordination reviews
• Ensure technical documentation supports efficient construction and quality delivery
• Contribute to value engineering and buildability reviews where appropriate
• Support commissioning, testing and handover processes, including O&M documentation

The Package:
Salary will be at least €65,000 DOE plus package.
