The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a residential construction project in Tralee. You will oversee site operations from groundworks through to completion, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will play a key role in managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, and maintaining programme targets while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site construction activities across a residential development
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards and site procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to maintain programme timelines
• Monitor quality of works and ensure high finishing standards throughout
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and design teams
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently to avoid delays to programme
• Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential construction projects
• Background in construction management, engineering, or a trade discipline
• Strong understanding of housing developments and sequencing of works
• Excellent leadership and communication skills on site
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and delivery
• Organised, proactive, and solutions-driven approach
