The Role – Building Services Coordinator
This is a key site-based and technical coordination role supporting the delivery of mechanical and electrical services from early design stages through to commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with project managers, consultants and MEP subcontractors to ensure all services are fully coordinated, compliant and delivered in line with programme and quality expectations. The role offers a strong mix of design review, site coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE

The Role – Building Services Coordinator

You will work closely with project managers, consultants and MEP subcontractors to ensure all services are fully coordinated, compliant and delivered in line with programme and quality expectations. The role offers a strong mix of design review, site coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical services across all stages of construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications and BIM models to ensure full MEP integration
- Manage technical submissions, RFIs and approvals in line with programme requirements
- Liaise with consultants, design teams and specialist subcontractors
- Monitor MEP installations on site to ensure compliance with design and specifications
- Attend and lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal teams
- Track and resolve design clashes, discrepancies and changes
- Provide regular progress updates and coordination reports
- Support testing, commissioning and system handover processes
- Ensure all works meet health and safety and regulatory requirements
- Assist with BCAR documentation and project close-out requirements
- Degree or qualification in Building Services, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in MEP coordination, site engineering or building services roles
- Background in electrical installation, design or M&E project delivery
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in construction
- Experience working with drawings, specifications and BIM coordination
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-focused with a strong emphasis on quality and delivery
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems
- Full driving licence
Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 DOE
