Site Manager Main Contractor

The Company
This well established Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering residential housing developments, mixed use schemes and commercial projects across Connacht and the West of Ireland. With a solid pipeline of new build residential projects, they are known for quality workmanship, structured project delivery and a strong health and safety culture.
Due to continued growth and the commencement of a new 70 unit residential development in Mayo, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for day to day site operations.
The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will lead the construction of a multi unit residential housing scheme from groundworks through to handover. You will be responsible for driving programme, managing subcontractors and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout.
This is a key leadership role on site where your ability to coordinate trades, maintain momentum and deliver homes to a high finish will directly impact project success.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all site activities on a new build 70 unit residential development
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies
• Drive the construction programme and manage daily and weekly work schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct labour on site
• Monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of finish
• Conduct regular site meetings and report progress to senior management
• Manage materials, plant and logistics to maintain programme targets
• Liaise with clients, design teams and local authorities where required
• Ensure all documentation, inspections and sign offs are completed in line with company procedures
About You
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential construction projects
• Strong background delivering housing developments or multi unit schemes
• Trade or construction management qualification
• Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and health and safety standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage tight programmes
• Detail focused with a strong commitment to quality finishes
• Driven, proactive and solutions focused
