Their teams are well supported on site, with a clear focus on quality finishes, programme delivery, and long-term career progression.

The company is now preparing to commence a new €multi-million school project in Kerry, with a strong pipeline of future projects already secured in the area.


The Role: Site Manager

This is a key Site Manager role on a large-scale Education project in Kerry. 

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme delivery, and ensuring all works are completed to the highest standard.

The successful Site Manager will play a central role in maintaining health and safety standards, managing site teams, and ensuring the project progresses efficiently through all construction phases in a live construction environment.


Must Have Requirements

• Must have 8 years’ experience in construction with a main contractor or residential developer
• Proven experience required as a Site Manager, Foreman, or Construction Manager on large construction projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and large site teams is essential
• Experience in residential, commercial or large-scale building projects required
• Construction-related qualification or strong trade background required


Preferred Experience

• Residential, apartment block, schools experience preferred
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and programme delivery
• Experience working on multi-storey developments beneficial
• Good reporting and subcontractor coordination skills


Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on a large school development
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers throughout the build
• Ensure works are completed in line with programme targets and project milestones
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site
• Monitor quality control and ensure all works meet specification standards
• Report regularly to the Contracts Manager on progress and site activities
• Manage site logistics and workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and company procedures
• Drive programme delivery while maintaining quality finishes throughout the project


About You

You are an experienced Site Manager with a strong background delivering residential or large-scale construction projects in Ireland. You are confident managing subcontractors, maintaining site safety standards, and driving projects to programme.

You have strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem solving, and the ability to lead teams effectively on busy construction sites. You understand the importance of quality finishes, efficient coordination, and maintaining progress throughout all stages of the build.
