Job title: Site Manager – Healthcare Refurbishment
Location: North Dublin, Co Dublin

Package: €75,000 to €80,000 + package
The Company
This main contractor delivers refurbishment, conservation and construction projects across Ireland, with experience across healthcare and other complex building projects.
They are currently delivering a large healthcare refurbishment project in North Dublin and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to strengthen the existing site management team through to completion.
The Role – Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will work alongside an experienced Project Manager on a major healthcare refurbishment project in North Dublin, with completion targeted for mid-summer 2027.
Your focus will be on the day-to-day running of the site, coordinating subcontractors, managing refurbishment and finishing works, and keeping the programme moving.
This is a hands-on Site Manager role where strong refurbishment or conservation experience is essential.
Must Have Requirements
• Must have strong refurbishment or conservation project experience
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on building projects required
• Strong subcontractor and trades coordination experience
• Experience managing refurbishment and finishing works through to completion required
Preferred Experience
• Healthcare refurbishment experience preferred
• Experience working within complex or live site environments beneficial
• Conservation project experience would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
• Drive healthcare refurbishment works in line with programme
• Coordinate trades and sequencing of refurbishment works
• Manage quality control and ensure a high standard of finishes
• Monitor progress and deal with site issues as they arise
• Maintain health and safety standards across the site
• Work closely with the Project Manager, design and commercial teams
• Manage snagging, close-out works and handover requirements
About You
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment or conservation projects. You will be comfortable taking ownership of daily site activities, coordinating subcontractors and driving works to programme.
Healthcare refurbishment experience would be particularly relevant for this position. A practical approach to site management, strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality through refurbishment and finishing works will be important.
