Site Engineer
Location: Co. Cork
The Project: €Multi-Million Civil Engineering & Infrastructure projects
The Package: €50,000 – €60,000 + Vehicle + Fuel + Matched Pension
Company: Growing Irish Civil Engineering Contractor
Overview:
Excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a growing Irish Civil Engineering Contractor delivering technically interesting infrastructure projects across Cork and the wider Munster region.
This is not a traditional setting out heavy Site Engineer position. Instead, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and take on broader technical and project delivery responsibilities, effectively developing towards an Assistant Project Manager role.
You’ll gain exposure across a varied portfolio of civil engineering works including water and wastewater infrastructure, roads, bridges, rail, marine and coastal works, drainage, utilities and other specialist engineering projects.
It’s an excellent environment for an ambitious Engineer who wants to develop beyond setting out and build experience in planning works, solving technical problems, coordinating subcontractors, managing stakeholders and taking greater ownership of projects.
You’ll also be working closely with highly experienced Chartered Civil Engineers who have spent their careers delivering complex infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and Britain.
The business has a hands on, collaborative approach, giving Engineers the opportunity to learn directly from senior management rather than becoming another number within a large organisation.
With a strong workload and a broad range of projects, there is genuine scope to progress into Project Management positions as your experience develops.
