They operate across complex urban environments as well as rural projects, supported by in-house engineering, commercial, plant, and HSQE teams creating a structured environment where Site Agents can lead confidently and progress.
The Role – Site Agent
As Site Agent, you will take ownership of multiple civils and utilities projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and safety standards. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, suited to someone who enjoys operational responsibility, client liaison, and driving teams on site.

The Role – Site Agent
As Site Agent, you will take ownership of multiple civils and utilities projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and safety standards. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy, suited to someone who enjoys operational responsibility, client liaison, and driving teams on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run multiple projects across urban and rural environments, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
- Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
- Review drawings in detail, coordinate design updates, and resolve technical issues.
- Lead site teams, promoting strong planning, communication, and performance culture.
- Coordinate resources, labour, plant, and materials with support from Contracts Managers and Engineers.
- Monitor progress against programme and budget, identifying risks early.
- Oversee traffic management, HSQE compliance, and site safety checks.
- Maintain accurate records, daily reports, and project documentation.
- Act as first point of contact for the public and subcontractors, handling issues professionally.
- Drive continuous improvement through better processes and smart use of technology.
About You
- Full clean driving licence essential.
- Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Strong civils / drainage / utilities background.
- Confident reading drawings, coordinating designs, and managing site activity.
- Commercially aware with experience tracking costs and progress.
- Solid HSQE knowledge and experience working to strict compliance standards.
- Comfortable leading crews, subcontractors, and multiple work fronts.
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure with strong communication skills.
