Overview:
Opportunity for a Setting Out Engineer to join a leading Irish Main Contractor on the redevelopment and extension of a historic landmark in Co. Clare.
You’ll be joining a highly regarded company with a strong track record delivering complex, high quality developments across Ireland, including conservation and restoration, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, education and residential projects.
The project itself will involve a varied mix of refurbishment, restoration and new-build works alongside external civil works, services, drainage, landscaping and associated site infrastructure, giving you excellent exposure from an engineering perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying works across the development using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and design information.
- Carrying out levels, coordinates, as-built surveys and other engineering checks throughout construction.
- Working closely with the Site Manager, Senior Engineer, subcontractors and design team to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer in Ireland.
- Strong setting out experience with Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Experience on refurbishment or conservation projects would be advantageous.
