This international main contractor delivers large scale data centre, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical and industrial construction projects across Europe and further afield.
With a strong pipeline of mission critical developments, they are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join their project delivery team in the Randstad region of the Netherlands.
The company offers long term career opportunities across major European projects, with experienced construction, engineering and commercial teams supporting delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
The Role: Senior Planner
As Senior Planner, you will take responsibility for developing, managing and monitoring the construction programme on a major data centre project in the Netherlands.
Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with the Construction Managers, Commercial Team, Design Managers and Commissioning Teams, you will ensure works are properly sequenced, programme milestones are achieved and potential delays are identified early.
This is a senior site based planning position requiring strong Primavera P6 experience and a detailed understanding of main contractor construction programmes, particularly across complex multidisciplinary projects.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Senior Planner with a strong main contractor background and the ability to manage complex construction programmes independently.
You should have excellent Primavera P6 skills, a practical understanding of construction sequencing and the confidence to challenge programme information provided by subcontractors and project teams.
Previous data centre experience would be particularly beneficial, although candidates with strong planning backgrounds in pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically demanding construction projects will also be considered.

Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ construction planning experience, ideally with a main contractor
- Advanced Primavera P6 experience, including baseline programmes, progress updates and critical path analysis
- Proven experience managing construction programmes on large scale commercial, industrial or mission critical projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination and programme reporting
- Fluent English and the legal right to live and work in the Netherlands
- Previous data centre construction experience
- Experience coordinating CSA, MEP and commissioning programmes
- Knowledge of delay analysis, programme recovery and earned value reporting
- Dutch language skills or experience working on European construction projects
- Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 construction programmes from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
- Manage baseline programmes, progress updates, critical path analysis and programme revisions
- Coordinate planning activities across CSA, MEP, procurement and commissioning packages
- Work closely with Construction Managers and subcontractors to monitor progress against agreed milestones
- Identify programme risks, delays and sequencing issues and develop recovery strategies
- Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, progress dashboards and lookahead programmes
- Monitor design deliverables, procurement schedules and long lead equipment requirements
- Support the Commercial Team with programme-related contractual matters and delay assessments
- Attend planning and coordination meetings with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives
- Ensure commissioning, testing and final handover activities are fully integrated into the construction programme
