With a strong pipeline of work across Dublin and the wider Leinster region, they are looking to appoint an experienced Building Services Coordinator to strengthen their project delivery team. The company is known for its practical approach to construction, experienced management teams and high standards of project delivery.

The Role: Building Services Coordinator

As Building Services Coordinator, you will take responsibility for coordinating the mechanical and electrical services across building projects in Dublin.

Working closely with the Project Manager, site management team, M&E subcontractors and design consultants, you will ensure building services installations are properly coordinated, delivered to programme and completed to the required quality standards.

This role will involve managing technical submissions, resolving design clashes, monitoring M&E installation progress and overseeing commissioning and handover activities.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 3+ years' experience in a Building Services Coordinator, M&E Coordinator or Building Services Engineer role
• Proven experience coordinating mechanical and electrical installations on construction projects in Ireland.
• Experience working with a main contractor or M&E subcontractor is required.
• Strong understanding of building services installations, construction drawings and site coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Experience on commercial, healthcare, education or public sector construction projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection and associated building services systems.
• Experience using BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Procore or similar coordination software.
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors to ensure services installations progress in line with the construction programme.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, technical submissions and builders' work requirements.
• Identify and resolve design clashes between mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural elements.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, design consultants and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor M&E installation progress, quality standards and compliance with project specifications.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and building services handover documentation.
• Ensure M&E works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

About You You are an organised Building Services Coordinator with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical installations on Irish construction projects.

You are comfortable working with M&E subcontractors, reviewing technical drawings and resolving coordination issues before they affect programme delivery.

You will have strong communication skills, good technical knowledge and the ability to work closely with site management and design teams to ensure building services packages are delivered to a high standard.
