The Company
This Tier 1 Irish main contractor has a strong track record delivering major education, healthcare, commercial and public sector developments across Ireland.
They are commencing a €50m new build school project in Co Kildare, comprising approximately 10,000m² of new educational facilities alongside significant external and site development works. The project provides a strong long-term opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of a substantial build from the early stages through to handover.
The Role: Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the construction delivery of this major education project in Kildare.
Working with the Contracts Manager and supported by an experienced site, engineering and commercial team, you will drive programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality and health and safety while maintaining strong communication with the client and design team.
You will have a major input into sequencing, procurement, site logistics and programme management throughout the build.

You will be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record delivering large-scale building projects in Ireland.
You should be comfortable leading experienced site teams, dealing directly with subcontractors and consultants and taking ownership when programme or technical issues arise.
Strong organisation, communication and programme management skills are essential.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years’ experience delivering large building projects with a main contractor in Ireland
- Proven experience required at Project Manager or Senior Site Manager level on projects of significant scale
- Strong experience managing subcontractors, programme delivery and site teams
- Must have a strong understanding of Irish construction standards, quality procedures and health and safety requirements
Preferred Experience
- Education, healthcare or major public sector project experience preferred
- Experience delivering projects valued at €30m+ beneficial
- Experience managing projects from early construction through fit out and handover preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for construction delivery and programme performance
- Manage and coordinate site management, engineering and subcontractor teams
- Drive short-term and master programmes, identifying risks and maintaining key milestones
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality control and technical compliance
- Coordinate closely with the commercial and procurement teams to ensure packages are delivered in line with programme
- Manage design coordination, RFIs and technical issues with consultants and subcontractors
- Maintain clear communication with the client, design team and senior management
- Oversee fit out, commissioning, snagging and final handover

You will be an experienced Project Manager or Senior Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and a track record delivering large-scale building projects in Ireland.
You should be comfortable leading experienced site teams, dealing directly with subcontractors and consultants and taking ownership when programme or technical issues arise.
