Overview:
A well established Irish Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its Dublin team, working across a secured programme of civil and transport infrastructure works.
Rather than moving from one short-term project to the next, this position offers the chance to build your career around a substantial pipeline of work across Dublin, giving you long term security while still providing plenty of technical variety.
You’ll be trusted with responsibility for your own sections of work, managing crews and subcontractors and playing a key role in planning and delivering works from start through to completion.
The company places a strong emphasis on developing its engineers and giving people genuine responsibility as they progress. Internal mentoring, ongoing CPD and support towards professional membership and chartership are all actively encouraged.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of individual sections of civil engineering works from planning through to delivery.
- Manage and coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure works remain on programme.
- Liaise closely with Project Managers, clients, designers and other stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Support and mentor junior engineers while helping maintain high engineering standards across the project team.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working on civil engineering projects in Ireland.
- Strong experience taking ownership of individual project sections.
- Full Irish driving licence.
