This Irish engineering consultancy works across renewable energy, water, environmental and civil infrastructure projects throughout Ireland.
They have a strong renewable energy portfolio covering wind, solar PV, BESS and associated electrical infrastructure, with involvement from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
The Role: Senior Electrical Engineer
You will take a senior role in the electrical delivery of renewable energy projects, working across HV/MV infrastructure, substations, grid connections, transformers, switchgear, protection and control systems and SCADA.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and involves technical design review, project coordination and engagement with clients, contractors and key industry stakeholders.
Must Have Requirements
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in HV/MV infrastructure and the technical delivery of complex electrical projects.
Renewable energy experience is highly beneficial, particularly across wind, solar, BESS, substations or grid connections. Chartered Engineer status would also be beneficial.

Must Have Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong HV/MV electrical engineering experience
- Experience across renewable energy, power generation, transmission, distribution or major electrical infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of grid connections and protection systems
- Lead electrical engineering input across wind, solar PV and BESS projects
- Review electrical designs, calculations, specifications and contractor submissions
- Support HV/MV substations and grid connection delivery
- Coordinate electrical packages with civil, structural, environmental and SCADA teams
- Provide technical input into procurement and tender documentation
- Support commissioning, energisation and handover
- Liaise with clients, contractors and relevant industry stakeholders
