The Role – Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of High Voltage and Power & Renewables projects from pre construction through to commissioning and final handover.
Working closely with clients, engineers, commercial teams and site management, you will lead all project activities ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest technical and quality standards.
This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in substations, HV infrastructure, renewable energy or power transmission projects.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €90,000 to €115,000 DOE

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of High Voltage and Power & Renewables projects from pre construction through to commissioning and final handover.

This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in substations, HV infrastructure, renewable energy or power transmission projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of High Voltage and Medium Voltage projects across Ireland and the UK.
- Manage project planning, procurement, engineering coordination and construction activities from project start up through to final handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, cost controls, cashflow forecasts and reporting systems while ensuring all works are delivered in line with commercial objectives.
- Coordinate project start up activities including staffing, subcontractor mobilisation and site establishment.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are implemented and maintained to the highest standards while overseeing QAQC processes and commissioning activities.
- Chair client meetings, progress reviews and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Monitor project productivity, programme performance and commercial objectives while identifying and managing project risks throughout delivery.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors to manage project costs, variations and reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop site teams while maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Ensure all commissioning, O&M documentation and final handover requirements are completed successfully while promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement across all project activities.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline, or coming from a strong electrical trade background.
- Proven experience delivering High Voltage, Medium Voltage, substation or power infrastructure projects across the power, utilities or renewables sectors.
- Strong background managing multidisciplinary construction and engineering teams with excellent knowledge of project planning, commercial management and electrical construction delivery.
- Strong client facing skills with the ability to lead meetings, manage stakeholders and maintain professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills combined with a strong understanding of health and safety and QAQC procedures within electrical infrastructure projects.
- Commercially aware, solutions focused and capable of leading technically demanding projects independently.
