With an excellent reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and project delivery, they continue to secure repeat business across commercial, industrial, education, hospitality, residential, and infrastructure sectors.
The company provides a full range of electrical contracting and specialist electrical services, working on both new build and refurbishment projects for major clients and developers. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone.
The Role – Electrical Estimator
As Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and commercially competitive tenders for a wide range of electrical projects across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and the UK.
Working closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, suppliers, and clients, you will be responsible for ensuring all tenders are fully costed, commercially viable, and submitted to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to join a growing contractor with long term career progression and exposure to large scale commercial and industrial projects.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing electrical estimates and tender submissions for commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Producing accurate take offs and material enquiries
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Preparing pricing schedules, cost plans, and tender documentation
- Evaluating project risks and identifying value engineering opportunities
- Supporting the project handover process following successful tender awards
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Ensuring all tender submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Assisting with commercial reviews and tender negotiations where required
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction or electrical contracting sector
- Strong understanding of electrical installations across commercial and industrial projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Experience pricing electrical works from first principles
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Electrical trade background or engineering qualification desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Motivated, professional, and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE
