The Role: Project Manager
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of design and build construction projects in Wexford, overseeing all aspects from pre construction coordination through to final handover.
You will lead site management teams, coordinate consultants and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. This role carries full ownership of programme performance, quality standards and client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the delivery of residential and commercial design and build projects from start to completion
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
• Develop, monitor and update detailed construction programmes
• Coordinate design information between architects, engineers and site teams
• Lead and mentor Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
• Work closely with the commercial team to manage budgets, variations and cost reporting
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients
• Maintain strict quality control standards and oversee snagging and handover processes
About You:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager with an Irish main contractor
• Strong background in design and build construction projects
• Experience delivering residential or commercial developments
• Construction related qualification or strong trade background with management progression
• Excellent programme management and organisational skills
• Strong leadership ability with clear communication and decision making skills
• Driven, detail focused and committed to delivering projects on time and to a high standard
