The Company
This established Irish main contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential and mixed-use construction projects across Munster and the wider Irish market.
With a strong pipeline of regional projects and a practical, delivery-focused management team, the company is known for maintaining high standards on site, building long-term client relationships, and delivering projects with a strong emphasis on quality and programme certainty.
They are now seeking an experienced Project Manager for a new Admin and Workshop Building project in North Kerry, Co Kerry.
The Role: Project Manager
This Project Manager role will see you taking full responsibility for the delivery of an Admin and Workshop Building project from early construction stages through to handover.
You will oversee programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, site operations, health and safety, quality control, and client communication while working closely with the commercial and site teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
The successful Project Manager will play a key role in maintaining standards on site, driving progress, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the project lifecycle.
Must Have Requirements:
• Must have proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor in Ireland
• Proven experience required delivering commercial, industrial, or similar building projects
• Strong knowledge of programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, and site management
• Experience managing health and safety, quality, and reporting on live construction sites
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required
Preferred Experience:
• Experience delivering workshop, industrial, or manufacturing facilities preferred
• Construction related degree or trade background beneficial
• Experience working closely with commercial teams and managing project budgets
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the project programme and ensure key milestones are achieved
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout delivery
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the project
• Monitor quality control and ensure works meet specification
• Chair site meetings and maintain regular communication with the client and design teams
• Work closely with the commercial team on variations, procurement, and cost control
• Ensure accurate project reporting and documentation
• Drive efficient day-to-day site operations and resolve issues quickly
About You:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background delivering building projects for Irish main contractors. You will be comfortable managing programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and site teams.
You will have a practical approach to construction management, strong organisational ability, and the confidence to lead a project through all phases of delivery in a live site environment.
