The Company
This established Irish Main Contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality commercial, fit out and hospitality developments across Dublin and the wider Leinster region. Known for their collaborative approach and high construction standards, they continue to secure major landmark projects with repeat clients across the Irish construction sector.
This opportunity is based on a new Hotel development at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport, a prestigious large scale hospitality fit out project that will require exceptional coordination, programme management and attention to detail from preconstruction through to handover.
The Role – Project Manager
This is a site based Project Manager position leading the delivery of a fast paced hospitality fit out project within Dublin Airport. The successful Project Manager will take full ownership of programme delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality standards and client communication while ensuring the project is completed safely, on time and to the highest specification.
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, design team and site management team to ensure smooth delivery across all phases of the build, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day to day delivery of a large scale fit out and hospitality construction project
• Drive programme delivery and maintain key construction milestones
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers across all project phases
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Monitor project quality standards and oversee snagging and handover processes
• Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients
• Manage project budgets, procurement schedules and construction sequencing
• Liaise closely with the client, consultants and airport stakeholders throughout the project
• Identify and resolve construction issues to maintain programme targets
• Ensure all project documentation and reporting is maintained accurately
About You:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on fit out, commercial or hospitality construction projects
• Main Contractor experience within the Irish construction industry is essential
• Strong understanding of programme management and project sequencing
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience managing subcontractors and driving site performance
• Strong focus on quality, finishing standards and project delivery
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced live construction environment
• Highly organised with strong problem solving ability
