The Role – Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer, you will take ownership of mechanical and electrical project delivery across water and wastewater installations. You will be involved from early design coordination through to site execution, commissioning, and final handover.
This is a hands on engineering role offering strong exposure to project management, site operations, and client interaction. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high technical standard.

Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of water and wastewater pumping and treatment projects with a focus on M&E and ICA works
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety standards, working closely with HSQE teams
- Support tendering and contribute to high quality technical and commercial submissions
- Coordinate with design teams to deliver practical and efficient engineering solutions
- Procure equipment and manage supply chain requirements for project delivery
- Develop and manage project programmes from design through to commissioning
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee site activities, including subcontractor and labour management
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Prepare engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning documentation
- Manage O&M documentation and enforce safe working practices on site
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Experience in a project engineering role within M&E, utilities, or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of water or wastewater systems, pumping, or treatment processes is advantageous
- Proven ability to manage projects, site teams, and subcontractors
- Strong technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Full clean driving licence
Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 (DOE)
